I work with print, paint, and electronic media to explore subjects that are socially uncomfortable or taboo: from horsegirls and feet, to surveillance and imperialism. My work is inspired by maximalist Vietnamese kitsch and internet aesthetics. I am interested in investigating interactivity and complicity within art by creating interactive zines, artist books, and websites that turn viewers into active participants.
